Local Detective Inspector, Davina Dwyer is charged with the task of investigating the horrific crimes, but more is about to unfold. Questions are asked in the House of Commons. The investigating team are put under immense pressure to find the culprit of the bizarre happenings and arrest and charge the evil offender. Meanwhile, local eateries come under suspicion when the hand, discovered at the rubbish tip, was found to have been fried in a specific cooking oil used only in the catering trade. A number of residents including a local parish priest, go missing. Mysteriously, despite investigations to trace their whereabouts, no clues can be found. They have disappeared off the face of the earth. Locals believe it to be the work of the Beast of Bodmin Moor.What is the connection between the local killings, the disappeared, and a supernatural presence? History, ignorance and secrecy lead to an unbelievable tale with an unpredictable finale.
