Reseña del libro "Feeling Like August (en Inglés)"

Some stories don't end when people leave. At thirteen, an ordinary friend request connects a quiet boy from Coimbatore with a girl from across the hills of Kerala. What begins as shared mornings, unnoticed moments, and conversations carried across distance slowly becomes the centre of both their worlds. Then, one ordinary August, everything changes. Years later, living in Melbourne, he still keeps the promises he made to someone who is no longer there. Every August, he writes a letter he will never send. Every ordinary moment reminds him that love does not always end with goodbye. Spanning India and Australia, Feeling Like August is a literary novel about first love, grief, memory, family, friendship, and the quiet resilience of carrying someone with you long after they are gone. Through rain-soaked mornings, temple bells, coffee shared across conversations, and the small rituals that survive loss, it asks whether healing means forgetting or learning to live with what remains. For readers who love emotionally rich literary fiction, this is a story about growing up, surviving heartbreak, and discovering that some people never truly leave us. Some people believe first love ends. Mine never did.
