Karan Feder es una historiadora de la moda, especialista en vestuario escénico y profesional de museos estadounidense. Su trayectoria se ha centrado en la historia, conservación y exhibición de trajes utilizados en espectáculos, así como en la relación entre la moda, el entretenimiento y la cultura popular. A lo largo de su carrera ha trabajado en proyectos relacionados con colecciones de vestuario y textiles y ha desarrollado exposiciones sobre moda e historia del traje.

Feder tuvo una importante participación en el desarrollo de la colección de vestuario y textiles del Nevada State Museum en Las Vegas. También impulsó la conservación de numerosos trajes del famoso espectáculo Folies Bergère del Hotel Tropicana, que estuvo en cartelera en Las Vegas durante décadas. Actualmente se desempeña como curadora invitada de Vestuario y Textiles del Nevada State Museum y forma parte de la Costume Society of America.

Como autora, ha escrito obras dedicadas a la cultura y la moda. Entre sus publicaciones se encuentran The Folies Bergere in Las Vegas y Barbie Takes the Catwalk: A Style Icon’s History in Fashion, publicada en 2023.
