"You are the question, Eldshjarta. The gnista - the spark they feared."Eira Vale spent twenty-four years believing she was ordinary. After her parents' deaths, she folded into quiet routines and smaller versions of silence-selling sage and small magic at an apothecary, dodging a law-school application that kept blurring into runes, and telling herself the strange heat beneath her skin was only grief. An erased god reaches for her from the space behind her dreams. Far beneath the roots of the world tree, an ancient fire remembers what she is.Hunted by gods who built their thrones on a prophecy she was born to unmake, Eira is dragged into a brutal world of ancient magic, buried kingdoms, and forgotten wars. With her scarred, oath-bound guardian Killían and her sharp-tongued scholar friend Rúna walking beside her, the ordinary life shatters completely. She was raised to hide, but born Eldrkyn.Eldrkyn: Rise of the Gate is the first book of The Fatebreaker Saga-a dark Norse fantasy of stolen memories, forbidden realms, dangerous magic, and a heroine who refuses to be erased. She wasn't chosen by fate. She shattered it. Read more
