Alan Davis es un dibujante y guionista británico de cómics, nacido en 1956, ampliamente reconocido por su trazo limpio, elegante y narrativamente claro. Comenzó su carrera en el Reino Unido con tiras para fanzines y pronto dio el salto a publicaciones profesionales trabajando en títulos como “Captain Britain” para Marvel UK. Su estilo se distingue por un equilibrio entre realismo, dinamismo y diseño cuidado de personajes y escenas.

En su trayectoria internacional sobresale su trabajo en Estados Unidos, donde ilustró series como Miracleman, Excalibur y diversos números de Uncanny X‑Men y Batman. Su periodo en Excalibur, junto a entintadores como Paul Neary, fue premiado con un Eisner Award al mejor equipo artístico. Además, durante los años 90 y 2000 continuó renovándose: creó su propia serie, ClanDestine, y trabajó en series de Los Vengadores, Cuatro Fantásticos, Hulk, entre otros, dejando una huella duradera en el cómic de superhéroes.
