Mitos cosmogónicos de los pueblos indígenas en Ecuador, by Ileana Almeida, is an invitation to return to the origin of the original cultures that still exist in the country's territory. The methodology underlying the analysis of the text is based on the thinking of the widely recognized Russian semioticians of the Moscow and Tartu schools: Golosovker, Lotman, Ivanov, Meletinski, among others.
