I was inspired to write this book after attending a free online session offered by the amazing and wonderful Tony Robbins. I signed up to the free three-day session a little nervous and unsure what I would receive from it, but by the end of the Time To Rise 2024 process, I was left feeling energised from what I learned. I am very grateful for the time Tony gave for free and the wisdom that he shared. One of the things he explained was that "Belief is a poor substitute for an experience - you need direct experience". This stuck with me. It left me thinking of the times in my life when I had acted on my belief, or taken advice from people that I loved, or admired and respected, but they were speaking to me from their beliefs, rather than experience. A lightbulb moment had landed in my mind. I now had a clearer understanding of what to look for when seeking wise counsel. I was also left with a feeling in my heart that I too would like to give back, just like Tony did, to offer help, from a place of loving kindness to others. For this reason, I have compiled this short but hopefully impactful book, to offer help to anyone seeking advice and guidance.
