Robert Marasco (1936-1998) fue un escritor y dramaturgo estadounidense conocido principalmente por sus contribuciones a los géneros de terror y suspense, tanto en la literatura como en el teatro. En el ámbito teatral, su obra más conocida es Child’s Play (1970), un thriller psicológico que
fue muy bien recibido por la crítica y marcó el comienzo de su carrera como escritor.
