It's 2035 and Masuyo Kasuragi is far from happy, reeling from the death of his boyfriend with nothing but a photograph for comfort. He moves to Logan, Utah in the United States to rejoin his band for a year of college abroad at Utah State University. Finding common ground in their views on the environment, both boys begin a friendship, and for Masuyo it turns into an emotional attachment on the photojournalist student.
