The present investigation is an attempt to study of an economic cultivation of mentha and its marketing in district Budaun of Uttar Pradesh state. District Budaun was purposively sellect out of 18 Blocks. Ujhani Block was selected purposively due to high area under mentha crop. Ujhani block 5 villages rendomlly selected. Abdulaganj, Bitroi, Chhatuia, Dehmmu and Kurau. 10 farmer's have select each villege of block Ujhani on the basis of the size of holding. 50 farmers were selected in which 52.00 per cent were below 1 hectare, 34.00 percent in 1- 2 and hectares, 14.00 per cent in 2 & above hectares size group. The data collected were subject to analysis for examined the objectives of the investigation viz. socio-economic relationship, economics of the mentha cultivation, marketing pattern of mentha crop and constraints observed in the course of study.
