Reseña del libro "Alex's Wish: An Adventure of Saving, Friendship and Imagination (Alex, Kibuk and Gobble) (en Inglés)"

What if saving money were an adventure? Alex has a wish: the Gorilla Super Tower, the most amazing toy he has ever seen. But it costs far more than the coins in his piggy bank. Giving up is not an option, so Alex comes up with a plan. With Kibuk, a clever blue fox who always has a good idea, and Gobble, a cookie-loving little bear with a very big heart, Alex discovers that every coin counts, that selling cookies takes more than just baking them, and that the best dreams are the ones you share with your friends. Based on a true story. It all began in Turbaco, a small town on the coast of Colombia, where Alejandro, the co-author of this book, learned to save for his first big wish, and his dad decided to turn that adventure into a story for every child. Inside this book: - 12 short chapters, perfect for reading together or for independent readers ages 6 to 10 - 68 black-and-white illustrations kids can color - "Let's Talk as a Family": conversation starters for parents and teachers - "My Savings Plan": a worksheet so your child can set a goal and reach it A warm, funny story about saving, effort, friendship and resilience, written by a father and his son. The perfect first book about money for kids, and the beginning of the Alex, Kibuk and Gobble series.
