This volume is the first of two to illuminate the buildings of the northeast of Scotland. It covers not only Aberdeenshire’s historic districts of Formartine, Buchan, and Banff but also the whole of Moray. Picturesque former fishing villages cling to the rugged coastline, while the inland rivers support some of the most famous whisky distilleries in Scotland.
