Reseña del libro "A THOUSAND LIVES (en Inglés)"

What if one life is simply not enough? At thirty-five, Boris Kriger set out to live a thousand of them. He washed floors and wrapped the dead, escaped the claims of two armies, crossed countries and languages, built businesses, wrote books, studied medicine and cosmology, bought a house in a Norwegian forest, and declared war on Time itself. Twenty years later, he returns to the memoir of that restless younger man and answers him—sometimes with affection, sometimes with irony, and always with the hard-earned knowledge of what happened next. A Thousand Lives is a witty, candid, and deeply personal conversation between two versions of the same man: one convinced that everything can be conquered, and the other who has lived long enough to examine the cost. Together they explore ambition, poverty, money, love, creativity, depression, mortality, and the strange human hunger to become more than one person in a single lifetime. Both philosophical memoir and literary self-portrait, this is a book about refusing the life assigned to you—and discovering that even a thousand lives must ultimately be lived as one.
