"Wings Over the Virgin Islands" is the third and final installment in the Caribbean series by Aisha Banks. It's a brilliant blend of gritty inner city and tranquil island life styles that forces its characters to wrestle with personal integrity and lasting values. Challenging, not at all predictable, heart-warming to the very last word. Aisha's novels reflect her love for and many years living in the Virgin Islands. While residing in St. Thomas, she served as camera operator and producer of the CBS morning television program, "AM Virgin Islands." She also taught drama and play writing to youth in St. Croix. Two Christian talk shows Aisha produced in the continental US, "Soldiers of the Cross" and "Pastoral Perspectives" are also aired in the British Virgin Islands. When asked why she finds herself drawn to the islands she replies, "The sea, the sun, the sailing, the beaches."
