Walking by Starlight is a supernatural detective story illustrating that even those whose lives are populated with miracles will know uncertainty and need God's daily -- though often dim -- light. Some Christians immediately know when disaster strikes their loved ones; this novel investigates whether unrelated Christians could have this same experience based upon 1 Cor. 2:11-12 ("No man knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of that man. And no man knows the thoughts of God, but the Spirit of God. Now we have that same Spirit, so we can receive His thoughts freely given").Angela, stricken with MS in 5th grade, becomes a spiritually sensitive girl who cannot feel or speak to the outside world, yet senses the surroundings of Christian crime victims. A skeptical police detective is assigned to check her out and finds faith. Miraculously healed at age 20, she's naïve about the real world and heavily burdened with the terrors of each kidnapping case she solves. Desperate to remain true to the Bible, she navigates through demonically inspired crime, the attacks of evil spirits, imitators trying to use psychic power, human failings, and God's silence. Many within the Police Department and the Media condemn because she can only help children younger than the age of accountability or Christians. She discovers that life's trials are actually training under the God's watchful love.
