A war waged with weapons beyond human comprehension did more than destroy cities - it tore through the very fabric of reality. The sky remains stained in shades of gray and red, the stars have vanished, and endless storms echo over the ruins of an extinct civilization.

From the open wounds of the universe emerged the Rifts of Chaos. Unstable, living portals from which creatures have begun to spill - beings that were never meant to exist in this world: dragons with burning scales, chimeras shaped by terror, and horrors that defy all human logic. To approach a Rift is a death sentence. To ignore it is to allow the world to be devoured.

The few survivors fight on two fronts - against the monsters born from the Rifts and against the brutality that rises when survival becomes the only law. Communities form among the rubble, alliances fracture with ease, and hope is as scarce as food or water.

When all modern science fails, a forgotten force rises from the ashes: alchemy. Ancient, forbidden, and long underestimated, it becomes humanity's last weapon. With formulas lost to time, alchemists create sustenance where nothing grows, heal wounds thought impossible, and forge defenses capable of holding back the darkness - if only for a while.

But not all wield this power to protect. Some seek to control the Rifts. Others wish to exploit them. And every wrong choice brings the world closer to its final collapse.
