A note to potential buyers: i know many of you are Christians and may find some of the contents of this book abrasive, if not offensive. Let me explain. This series is about coming out of the darkness and into the light. The first book is about the main character's comfort with darkness and her inherently nasty attitude toward life as a result. That being said, this book is replete with violence and really bad people doing bad things. Don't worry: I didn't get too graphic with it. The second book is about being confronted with her lukewarm Christianity by people who are truly true Christians. Out of the darkness; into the light. Please be patient and read even if it annoys you or turns you off, as I promise you'll come to love her as the series continues and she becomes the person God wants her to be.
