Society worldwide has undergone important changes in the last three decades, which has also permeated Chilean institutions and social structure. This reality is evident in new forms of social interaction, the questioning of traditional political and economic institutions, and the establishment of new parameters linked to the establishment of a new social order. By virtue of this emerging reality and its importance in the context of discussions of public issues of interest, a group of professionals and researchers have joined forces to write several chapters in essay format, related to thinking about the future of Chile from various areas of knowledge. The topics covered in the book are the emerging changes in Chilean society as of October 2019, political analysis, ethnicity, a discussion about a new economic model for the country, new perspectives of the labor economy, among other topics. This intellectual effort aims to continue opening spaces linked to the strategic challenges of Chile in the context of the 21st century.
