Ordered to return to occupied Europe, Peter Parker has once more to jump into the dark of the night and an uncertain future in north western France. He has to find and bring back to England a missing French scientist who holds the future of the war and victory in his hands. The problems are, no one knows where the scientist is, and the German SS are also looking for the same man. "It's a quick 48 hour job" he was told, but things go terribly wrong from the start and Peter finds himself in a nightmare of deception, lies and double agents. Re united with some old friends, they have to find the scientist before the SS do, or victory for the Allies will certainly slip away. To add to his problems, Peter finds himself cornered by the evil Karl Wagnor of the German SS. Additionally, he was dropped miles off target due to an RAF error and has to operate in occupied France without a contact or a radio, will he succeed, the future of the war and freedom itself depend on it.
