This fourth and final book of the Soulsphere series continues the adventures of Gale McCarthy, her husband Oberon, and their unborn son, Kieren, who are now fleeing Pax and the wrath of the Firsts. They murdered Vidar and stole the fleet's flagship, and they are also expecting a baby boy, knowing that having a child is against Paxian law. Each of these crimes is punishable by execution. Now that they have a fast and foolproof cure for ironspell, they return to Shorix and Choraia to rid both planets of the plague. The newborn baby has ever more astonishing mind powers, surpassing both of his parents in skills, and allowing them to safeguard planets and avoid capture throughout their whole mission. Then they reach Earth ... Upon arriving back home, they find that Gale's brother has become their enemy and has psychic abilities of his own. All seems lost.
