In this book, these actions have been recounted in detail, including examples of incredible bravery displayed by the combatants. It was indeed traumatic for the troops when areas that had been captured by the unit in Bugina Bulge (POK), after incredible sufferings and heavy casualties, were returned to Pakistan. Our troops withdrew to the areas where they are located today. The heart-breaking orders to withdraw were dutifully followed despite our genuine claims to the captured areas. Similar withdrawals were also conducted in strategic areas of Hajipir Pass and Kargil Heights.Today, terrorists regularly infiltrate from Pakistan to India from these areas.
