However, the cost of RFID tag is more than that of a bar code since the RFID IC is made by semiconductor fabrication for mass production.The process and manufacturing methods are described for more detailed discussion. And the final cost down of RFID tag is discussed with chipless method using inkjet printing technology. All printed RFID tag is not yet mature technology for mass production due to many reasons is depicted in this book.Lots of efforts need to be inputted into this field to solve the cost of a RFID tag for the method of mass production.
