Es pediatra y psicoterapeuta de adolescentes, directora de estilos parentales en el Instituto Mindsight y especialista en desarrollo infantil en la Escuela Saint Mark de Altadena, California. Pronuncia conferencias y dirige talleres para padres, educadores y clínicos de todo el mundo. La doctora Bryson obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad del Sur de California y vive cerca de Los Ángeles con su esposo y tres hijos.
