Dan Abnett, nacido el 12 de octubre de 1965 en Rochester, Kent, es un escritor y guionista británico reconocido por sus contribuciones en cómics y novelas de ciencia ficción. Ha trabajado para editoriales como Marvel y DC Comics, destacándose en series como "Guardians of the Galaxy" y "Legion Lost".

En el ámbito literario, Abnett es célebre por sus novelas ambientadas en el universo de Warhammer 40,000, incluyendo la serie "Los Fantasmas de Gaunt" y la trilogía del inquisidor Eisenhorn.
