"First Light" follows the life of Banty Witter, a college student who is trying to stay sober long enough to survive his senior year. Banty meets both Hannah and cocaine at a party and is thrust into an abusive relationship. When things go bad with her what had begun as an occasional snort quickly turns into a daily routine. Banty goes home for break before returning for his senior year more concerned with partying than attending class. Trapped on a small New Jersey college campus Banty is forced into contact with his ex as well as a new girl who lives outside his world of partying.
