Fue el fundador de Off-White y director artístico de la línea masculina de Louis Vuitton desde 2015 hasta su muerte. Reinventó la estética del streetwear y su integración con la alta costura. Colaboró con marcas como Nike, IKEA y Mercedez Benz. Trabajó con Jenny Holzer creando una línea que enfatizó los aspectos positivos de la inmigración, integración cultural y globalización y camisetas en apoyo a la Marcha de Mujeres en Washington. También fue intérprete y creador de numerosas portadas de álbumes de hip-hop, siendo reconocido por su aporte importancia no solo en la moda, sino en la música.
