"One of my favorite all-time dishes is anything with Scalloped Potatoes. They remained a staple all the way through WWII, and today they still find their way onto the dinner plate as a side dish almost 75% of the time. We have some type of potato as a side dish at least 4 times a week; potatoes are a big part of life on the farm, as is corn. I assembled these recipes for Scalloped Potatoes over the course of several years, as I've done with many of the recipes I collect and end up putting into my cookbooks. Potatoes are fairly cheap, and very filling, which makes them a perfect side dish for any meal. Easy Cheese and Ham Scalloped Potatoes, Country Scalloped Potatoes, Bacon Scalloped Potatoes, Over the Fire Scalloped Potatoes, and Man Lovin' Potatoes are the recipes I make the most, I can tell because the cards are worn and stained more than the rest.
