Inspired by the psalms written by W. S. Merwin, and a sculpture in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Vaso Roto: Espacio y poesía gives testimony to that creation, a unique work made by a remarkable artist. The imaginary universe created by a writer is an open territory that generates an inner movement which always moves towards understanding. This feature makes possible a link between speech and understanding, especially between painting and poetry, as well as between sculptural space and poetic sphere: when the being finds a center, the world becomes nothing but words.
