Reseña del libro

"The Sound of Falling Snow" was originally planned as a volume of eclectic poetry with no single theme. However, as so often happens, the vagaries of Life overtook the author's best laid plans. The volume before you is divided into 4 separate sections. Chapter 1 follows the author's original intent and is comprised of poems on a variety of subjects. Section 2 contains pieces related to my time in the tropics. The third section offers poetry about grief and loss. The fourth section contains poems directly relating to the loss of my wife, Linda. There is a widely held tenet among writers that "a poet gives the subject of his poem a form of immortality." I sincerely hope that is true. David Rhoades Johnson
