Reseña del libro

The Road to the Kingdom is a self-help book that describes a number of stages or steps that take place on the journey to the ‘Kingdom’.We start in the ‘Wilderness’, and receive an inner call to leave (for our death on some level is close at hand, perhaps even literal, physical death) and events occur which could be ascribed as a call to adventure, a call to begin our journey; our ‘Road to the Kingdom’.Do you dare to follow your calling? If you accept the call to journey upon the ‘Road to the Kingdom’ you must face tasks and trials. We ultimately have to face our fears before our severest challenge, an ultimate ‘Final Battle’. First, we develop the skills needed in stages, training in developing the archetypal skills and ideal traits of the archetypal images of the ‘Magician’, ‘Warrior’ and ‘Lover’ before ultimately embodying the ‘King’ or ‘Queen’ within. This book is for those who strive to meet their destiny and who want to ascend to their highest level of being. The Road to the Kingdom is presented in the style of an actual handbook for a Templar or Paladin but it is addressed to all readers. It is presented as a guide to experiencing a form of spiritual enlightenment also and stresses the importance of living in the present moment; in the ‘NOW’.It is a collection of teachings and the enclosing narrative is presented whereby on every page there is an inspirational thought, which can be read as a part of the whole book’s philosophy or it can be used to form the basis of a meditation. The book draws from a variety of spiritual traditions. The Road to the Kingdom contains aphorisms that have a specific spiritual source also such as Lao Tzu and Jesus in order to provide spiritual inspiration. The book also further describes methods of meditation to aid readers in anchoring themselves spiritually. These methods include focusing on your ultimate goal, (The Kingdom) and spending time in nature. After each passage the reader may then reflect and become still.
