AJ Conti and his friend narrowly escape death from a drive-by shooting orchestrated by a band of rogue cops.AJ travels to Albuquerque to help an old friend, District Court Judge Mac McDunn. Mac received threatening notes telling him to quash a civil rights trial against the city surrounding the beating of a man by Albuquerque police officers. The last note blamed Mac for the plaintiff's death after Mac ruled in his favor. Shortly after, the attorney for the plaintiff was also murdered.A group of rogue cops nicknamed "The Syndicate" execute a fellow officer close to exposing them, along with torturing and killing several witnesses and drug dealers. Even a city councilwoman and federal agents become targets.After the drive-by shooting, AJ realizes force is his only option.
