Made of Light. A collection of poetry, micro-poetry and prose. Made of Light represents the unthinkable ability we all possess to shatter any darkness that may overwhelm us. It is the insistence we have to continue dazzling and to find our brilliance once more. The book has a short prologue and epilogue and is divided into three chapters, namely ‘The Wound’, ‘The Light’ and ‘The Entering.’ These chapters were inspired by a quote by 13th century poet, Rumi, which says: “The wound is the place where the light enters you.” This quote quite aptly describes the process of hurting and healing, and of breaking and becoming.
