On a street in Ciudad Juarez, a night whipped by a winter wind, appears one of many mutilated bodies, evidence of the runaway criminality that has made the city its prey. Soon comes the moment when corpses multiply and outlandish theories appear to explain what happens: a tiger loose in the city, an epidemic of zombies. The duty of agent Julio Pastrana and journalist Luis Kuriaki is to investigate a rather atypical case: the corpses of men who, they will soon discover, had a long criminal record in life.
