Cyrus Irani can’t seem to find his place in the world. The son of Iranian immigrants, educated, introverted, he is content with seeing the days pass from his rug store on Manhattan’s Upper West Side; but the neighborhood, at its peak, is undergoing changes and the store’s rent is about to triple. Additionally, and in spite of his mother’s insistence that he needs to settle down, he has yet to find a woman with whom to share his life. His problems keep multiplying, while his chronic passivity doesn’t allow him to confront any of them. Pushed by his mother, his friends, and his punk nephew, Cyrus will try to rid himself of his deep-seeded sedentary habits. Cyrus Irani no acaba de encontrar su lugar en el mundo.
