A little boy named Dula wants to be the fastest runner. He works skinning fish and, each morning, along with the other child laborers, he tries to win and get to his job first. Sometimes he does it, but not always, depending on whether he had anything to eat the night before. This book provides an excellent way to discuss poverty and its consequences in other countries.
