Manuel Pardo is a 72-year-old artist that has dedicated his life to his comics. Despite his versatility, he has never published a single one. Each time he creates a new story, he discovers that someone has beaten him to the punch, and published a story just like his. It's rotten luck! But Manuel keeps at it to try and be the first to publish one of his comics... before somebody else does. Kiko da Silva displays true artistry as he invites us into Manuel's life, which is wonderfully reflective of the comics we loved as children.
