(Back In The Day Hasn't Changed) is a book describing real life events through short poems that still take place to this day to the Black race. In this book Kenny (Author) paints a picture of the struggle and violent acts towards black Men and Women in America and how decades in the past are very similar to the current times we live in today. Being from Saint Paul, Mn. Where just like most inner cities, the unlawful acts of violence toward people of color is just as high as any previous years. The day we live in now, we are able to capture and view these acts much more frequently and unfortunately in some cases, watch them happen in real time.
