The Architecture(s) of Transition is a project focused on South Asia and initiated by the Graduate School of Design, Laxmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute, the South Asia GSD Student Group, and supported by Architecture Foundation, India. The project components include a lecture series, conference, traveling exhibition, and a book documenting the research and conversations that emerge from this larger research project. This publication is focused on emergent practices in South Asia and was based on a lecture series that ran from March 2022 to March 2023 and served as a platform for discussion among many of the young practices included in this book.
